WEIC is proud to announce that it has officially formed a new Committee which will take lead on community affairs and advise the Board of Trustees as to the need and betterment of the Greater Richmond community in the West End area.

We are fortunate that a very well known senior member of the community has accepted the Chair position "Br. Mir Meraj Ali".

Br. Mir Meraj Ali will be joined by Br. Imtiaz Sattar and Br. Kamran Mirza.

Allhamdulillah!

The West End Islamic Center (WEIC), has secured Richmond Elks Lodge No. 45 Located at 10022 Elks Pass Lane Glen Allen, VA  23060 for Jumua Salaah. Inshallah we will be starting Jumua Salaah starting khutba at 1:15 PM at Elks Lodge as of August 26th, 2011 which also will be Jumua-tul-Wida.

Welcome to the website of the West End Islamic Center (WEIC) a non-profit organisation.  Located in the heart of Westend Richmond/Glen Allen area, WEIC will strive to provide a facility for prayers, education, youth foundation and community service for the Muslim community of the greater Richmond area.  The WEIC Masjid project is the first in the Westend Richmond area and the site is located at the intersection of Shady Grove and Twin Hickory Rd.
